Before you can learn to drive

You need to be 17 years old and have a signed provisional driving licence (photo card and paper counterpart).

You can apply for your provisional licence up to three months before your 17th birthday.

You can obtain a licence at the Post Office, and send off the application forms - a D1 and the new photo licence application form D750.

To book your lessons simply call or text 0780 758 0576

You will need your provisional driving licence before you can take any lessons.

You must display 'L' plates at the back and front of the car.
